The avatar is the little pic to the left by your name in the posts. The profile pic is the one that appears when someone clicks on your Profile. Some people post a picture of themselves in Profile pic, some use their cat's. You can manage them by going to User CP ; you can also add a "signature", which is a little expression that appears in small letters at the end of your post...for example, I just changed my "signature" to "we grow too soon old and too late smart". Is this clear? If not, please PM me...I had lots of trouble with this when I was a newbie, and everyone was so helpful! Edited to say: right now, your avatar and profile pic are the same...you can keep them that way if you want, or change one or the other. |
