Re: Will or won't he?

Did you ever try the minestrone soup? I'm having it tonight; the beans and split peas have been soaking since noon.

Re: Will or won't he?

No actually I didn't, I'd forgotten all about it (typical me). I will pop over to the recipe section (you did put it there didn't you) and write down the ingredients right now, and buy them when I do my shop on monday!

Re: Will or won't he?

I couldn't highlight it to do a link! It's in Non-Cat Chat, Friday's Thread, dated Jan 8th '07, post #11. Or if you do a Search with minestrone and my user name, that'll bring it up!

Re: Will or won't he?

Hi all, sorry I've not been on, I've been to my mums. The soup went down a treat and he had absolutely no idea what was in it He was suggesting all sorts of things due to the colour of it

When I told him he was surprised but had to admit that it was delicious

Alex...

Roasted red Pepper soup - chopped red peppers roasted in the oven in olive oil with some garlic cloves. Fry some chopped onions, put all the ingredients in a pan add water and season bring to boil then simmer and put through the blender Tasty!
