Maybe she is very nervous of eye contact?

Mags - I love the little person hanging the washing out - then flopping over the basket... I could watch that all night, but I better not as I've got to go in the shower now.

Definitely not that! She watches me intently as I;m opening tins or packets and I look back to her pretty yellow eyes, and tell her what a good cat she is....very odd......

Re: Daily thread - Friday

Hope everyone is okay. Only just had chance to log onto Catsey, been a busy day. It's my Birthday today, and although it has been nice, definitely not relaxing. Been at work and received some lovely presents from colleagues. They know me too well and my cards had either cats or flowers on them! When I got home I took Caleb for a lovely long walk. We went to some local fields and he had a great time running and playing. His recall is so much better now. It was like a warm spring evening. Whe I came home I tidied the house, went shopping and then we had a chinese takeaway. OH and are off to the New Forest tomorrow for a relatives 60th Birthday celebration. we are taking Caleb, but he is spending the night in kennels as we can't take him to the hotel. My daughter is 'home alone' for the first time ever. I am more worried than she is, I think she is looking forward to it! She will be 17 two weeks today, and is very sensible, but it wont stop me worrying.

Thanks Mags & Alex. I did get an Happy Birthday email from Catsey!

Alex, don't like to think so much about birthdays now, especially since I have only 5 years to go until I'm 50!!!
