Re: Daily shred thread - Friday.

Anybody boycotts this forum and I'll be round to beat them up with my walking stick, lol!
Had a funny old day today, obviously stressed with Teddie. Niece was driving me nuts today and had a progress report from Hayleys nurture group at school. Apparently she is doing well. SHe did a poem today too.

My House by Hayley age 6

I creep in my house
As quiet as a mouse
I walk inside
But I'd much rather glide
I go to my room
But I'd like to zoom.

What a talented little girl I have (proud mummy moment), lol. It is good to see her starting to settle at school though. Made homemade tomato soup tonight, first time I've tried it. OH and Hayley loved it , niece and Raechel hated it. Oh well, there's still a pot of vegetable soup on the hob!

It's been sooo wet today I have looked up my ancient post about the Sahara, to feel 'warm and dry'! Here's the link if any new people would like to see - with apologies to those who've seen and been bored to tears previously http://www.catsey.com/showthread.php...ghlight=sahara

She scares me Mags! She uses words like 'astonishing and incredible and talented', what sort of 6 yr old talks like that? As I said before her tested reading level is 10 and a half yrs! Lord knows by the time she's at that age she'll probably be reading war and peace, lol.

Re: Daily shred thread - Friday.

Hi, all! Sun out and still windy; drying out after the "monsoon" yesterday. To the bank & market, just noodling around today. Onyx was back for her "aftertnoon tea" when I put the trash out, still can't get nearer her than two feet! Commiserations to all of you with the sniffles and sneezles, wish I could send some of my chicken noodle soup over! And hope all the broken appliances get fixed soonest!! Have a nice evening!
