Re: Daily thread - Thursday

Jac - lots of thoughts with you today.
Nae - hope Thomas is better soon . . . it's horrible when the littlies are ill
Mags - have a great time at the zoo!!
Fran - hope Smudge is OK. Fifi's getting another eye infection but the fucidin always seems to clear her up ok.
BM - get some kip during the day if you can.
DM - have a lovely time in Stockholm!!!

Well, it's just as hot here as it has been . . . very humid too. Slept OK bar the fact that Domi woke up at 1am and ended up in bed with us. The fan kept everyone cool though It did rain a little over night, again not much but enough to stave off watering the pots

All our sand and slabs have been delivered and are taking up 1/2 the drive. This means my car (the slightly less vulnerable of the 2, and the one that has the parking permit) has to take to the road for parking, Makes me a bit nervous and it's been the target for vandals before Still - if Ken's Porsche was left on the road you can bet it wouldn't be there in the morning

I'm thinking apart from next Monday, today might be my last real day in the office as when I got home yesterday I was fit for nothing apart from going to bed for an hour.

Re: Daily thread - Thursday

Morning all ... not too much planned for today - apart from some "summer" cleaning.

May also be going to a car treasure hunt this evening, depending on how we feel and how far we get with the cleaning

The vet has taken Smudge through to the main hospital to see the rabbit specialist, so hopefully I will know later what the prognosis is..

Re: Daily thread - Thursday

Thanks for your good wishes...Got Smudge home from the hospital. The rabbit specialist vet feels that Smudge's teeth could be some of his problem. They are not terribly bad but she says some rabbits are very sensitive to teeth problems where as others cope well. She feels that the only way forward and to give him the best possible recovery from the ear/eye infection is for him to have his teeth filed or whatever they do to rabbits teeth So he is going in tomorrow morning for his teeth sorting and to have his tear ducts flushed out as they are a little infected. Finger's crossed that she is right and he will start to improve after these procedures..
