Re: Anyone seen Smudgley?

FOUND - one Mrs Smudgley

I'm here & I'm really sorry I haven't posted recently. I keep thinking I'll post about the new kittens / names / sexes / photos etc, but I have no time for anything at the mo.

The electrician has been today & he told us 2 things.
a) the electric will be off from tomorrow for 10 days (no prob - we're going to live in the caravan)

b) he needs the loft emptied, it is full (& I mean full of toys / books / games & all other stuff you normally stick up your loft)

It's like a sauna up there & me & hubby have no time / enthusiasm to empty it, apart from anything else we have no room to put the stuff! The rooms all need to be kept free as the plasterers are coming in next week, the garage is full of stuff like the conservatory (in pieces) the dining table, the 3 piece suite!

It's really quite hectic here at the mo & I'm getting to the "can't cope much longer stage"

So I'm still here, stressed, busy, tired & hot!

I'm taking the children away tomorrow after work til Sunday with my friend, so I'll catch up & post pics next week.

{{{hugs to you all for thinking about me}}}

You are my very bestest "tinternet" friends

Can't stop - off to shower the girls & get the loft sorted

BIG problem... We'll be without you (kittens, photos...) for *weeks*!
Or do you have a very advanced caravan with hot and cold running internet?

Good luck with the squash... : / The end result will be worth it, though.

Re: Anyone seen Smudgley?

Take care of yourself this is the "worst bit" when the next 2 weeks are over it will be all plain sailing. The home run so to speak. Going away in the caravan is a brilliant idea away from all the stress/strain and disruption. Good plan.

AndI agree about lofts like sauna's but how about doing a car boot with the stuff you take out of the loft - if its up there it's doubtful you use it anymore apart from the Xmas deccies of course

Take care and have a good mini break.

Karen

Yikes Smudgley......I don't envy you at the moment!

Once you get over this bad patch, I'm sure things will run smoothly again!

Oh, and I'll be patient........I don't mind waiting for the kitten pics!!

Re: Anyone seen Smudgley?

oh, when I said live in the caravan - we will be living in it in the back garden, proper gypsy style

When I was chatting to the electrician, I said - we don't need electric, we can do 10 days no probs - we can shower in the caravan / cook in there / we have got the fridge in there, so we're fine - I never thought about the "tint-a-net"

I'll try & pop on at work won't be able to post pics though. but a big promise of lots of photos in 2 weeks.
