Roses fall prey to all kinds of nasties! they need to be sprayed regularly, cut off all the bad buts, get some Bug Killer and give them a good spray...they should come on again.....

The little white flower is a star in baskets.

I don't know its name either, although I have some. I got mine from the market, so I'll go tomorrow or saturday and see if they still have some. If so, I'll get the name (will remember to take pen/paper - can you imagine walking back from town chanting a latin flower name under your breath so as not to forget?!)
