I must admit I really did get a fright when I saw the wires. I think someone must have been watching over us. |

 How scarey is that?Have you got a decent smoke alarm installed? Everyone should have one. Anyway, glad you're safe. |

We do have two smoke alarms, the thing was it was smelly not smokey. Plus the fuse box is in a cupboard under the stairs so if it had smoked it would have been hard to detect. I showed the wires to my Mum and she went white. Must admit I found the whole experiance really frightening. I kept thinking what could have happened. |
