Lets hope you are not coming down with a serious cold or goodness knows what else you might blow up.

Hope you have recovered now.

Yeah the jokes have been flying thick and thin here too LOL

Got onto MFI today who said that we must have damaged it while installing it ourselves and would have nothing to do with it. Contacted the manufacturer who asked if we had taken out extra insurance with the appliance, so I very quickly informed him that the appliance in question came with a 12 month garuntee and we didnt need any other insurance. Sorry madam, we will get a new piece of glass sent out to you within 5 to 7 days. Thankyou and goodnight.

On another note though, you know how places are constantly trying to get us to buy "extra insurance cover" on our appliances etc? What the hell is house insurance for? Why are we always having to pay pay pay? If people would just make quality goods then there shouldnt be any need for all these bloody extras. I for one NEVER buy all these extras, god i'd never have any money left, insurance companies must be coining it in!

Rant over

Re: Holy Crap!!!

When we were at Matt's parents' over Christmas, one of their kitchen cabinet doors (safety glass) exploded for no reason. It was very scary as I woke up when I heard it explode (we got a lie-in while his mum watched my son) and immediately thought my son might be hurt.

The huge heavy metal part with the handle on it hit her in the head, and she got cut in a number of places despite it being safety glass. Contact the manufacturer and let them know - this is a safety concern and needs to be recorded and dealt with.
