They don't get to meet them Moli.
All my rescues live in pens in the garden, but most evenings I will bring one or more up to the house - usually kittens for a couple of hours. We were having Domino in a lot before he went. I like to give them some quality time playing & getting more socialied. My girls don't mix with them though.
However Smudge does brush up against the safety corridor of the pen as if to say - I am so free & you are not, then she walks off, or maybe she is popping by to say hello. Who knows
