Pleased to see him looking so much better in his body.
Hope his bad memories fade and he can enjoy being a real dog with a proper family before too long!

Re: Remember Poor Wee Soul?

Just a PS but I'm sure Jac knows that the mental scars will last and last.

Our first dog (Lassie ) from the RSPCA come without any history. She was a very placid thing, settled in with us easily but sometimes (just sometimes) if she was dozing or not watching what I was doing, and then came to to find me sweeping or mopping would scream in an awful, bloodcurdling way . Bad memories .............. It was horrible - but a good excuse not to be too houseproud!

Re: Remember Poor Wee Soul?

your right DH thats going to be the biggest hurdle. He wont be ready to leave the kennels for a while yet. Then we will have to find a "special" home for him. He will have scars, but hopefully they will fade. At the moment he is female agressive. Well some females, but we cant work out what triggers it. He's also been in alot of pain with mange. It was so bad in his ears they were bleeding inside. So many things to try and work through. At least we have time on our side and some great helpers. I'll keep you posted with his progress. He is coming on well though and it is nice seeing him play. He didnt do that at first he was so afraid.
