Re: Sleep promotion tips

Even though I don't get much sleep at night, I don't sleep at all during the daytime either...

Do you think the oestrogen rich diet, discussed yesterday, might help your sleeping Mags?

Acupuncture - you can buy acupressure 'cones' at larger Boots (and probably other places too). Haven't tried them so can't give a personal recommendation, but I can confirm that 'Sea Bands', which work on a similar principle, work for me in controlling/preventing travel sickness. They also helped with the vertigo I suffered when I had concussion last year.
They appear to be small cones attached to a sticky patch which you apply to a particular spot on your wrists.
Maybe worth a try - can't harm, might help?

As I said don't know about these but the Sea-Bands for controlling nausea (whatever the cause - travel/pregnancy/vertigo) have certainly made travelling more comfortable for me. And I don't consider myself a very 'suggestable' person i.e. I think it is a physical result, not just all in the mind.
