CM - that really is a lovely garden. I think the way you've 'zoned' it works very well. I too love 'mushroom corner'. What's the thinking behind that (sorry if I've missed something)?

Sorry Yola - no you haven't missed anything The field next to the house used to have some lovely Elm trees, all of which we lost due to dutch elm disease.

A local man made me the lage mushrroms from one of our trees. I was so pleased with them that I decided to make them a feature of the corner where I had planted grasses etc. A few friends then brought me some mushrom garden ornaments when they came for the weekend a month or so ago. Rather than spread them around the garden I 'created' mushroom corner - glad you like it.

I saw some mushroom ornaments at the flea market last Summer; will keep an eye out when I next go on a Sunday; I love that idea!
