Re: Boxing day daily.

I'm sure they did. When I was working I always looked at the calendar in January and arranged to take a vacation day when the holiday was on Thursday or Tuesday to make a long weekend. Why not?

That reminds me, for those of you with checkbooks, go thru your checks on New Years Day and write '09 on the first dozen checks...by the time those are finished you;ll have remembered it's not '08 anymore! My Annual Tip.

Re: Boxing day daily.

Why is that? Do most of you do online banking or direct debit? I have recurring things like Earthlink, my cell phone, newspaper subscriptions charged to one of my credit cards, but prefer to pay things that vary by check,

The Gin only looks blue in the bottle but comes out clear. Very smooth easily consumed. Just finished work and have had 4 of them in the space of 2 hours.

Re: Boxing day daily.

The hair is dyed.
We are very blonde at the front / top, then brown, then black at the bottom / back.
Sounds weird, probably looks weird, but hey, I think it's great!

Anyway - I use cheques for the milkman / school dinners / school trips/ subs (guides / cheerleaders etc)

Everything else is debit card. I don't have a credit card, never had one, never will. Don't need one & I don't like them. If we haven't got the money, we just don't have it until we have!

Not sure if I can venture upto Merry Hill or not tomor?? What shall I do?
