Re: Daily Thread / Thursday

Afternoon all,

Been and took my watch to a specialist jewelers, it needs a new battery and they send it off to be cleaned etc... I have to wait 4 weeks for its return its very special to me - so they had better not lose it!

Going out later for a meal in a pub somewhere, need to find something to wear now - feeling fat and frumpy though

Thinking of you all today ((((((hugs)))))) x

Fil a pan with water and a touch of salt. Bring to the boil add 1/2 cup of rice per person. Boil for 20-25 mins. Test to see if it's ready and pour out the water. Sit on the hob for 5 mins and Bobs your Uncle xxxx

Re: Daily Thread / Thursday

Oh dear, Erin; sorry about the rice! For future reference they make automatic rice cookers, can't go wrong with them! Yola: hugs, Fran: hope you get results soon! A glorious day again: the forecast is for sun and 80s for the next week...lovely for those enjoying the long weekend. Quiet day here, nothing much planned; got the first mosquito bite of the season, oh joy!!! Hope you all enjoy the rest of the day!
