I've done that too, and you do indeed have my sympathy because it hurts!!! That's why I keep an aloe plant; rub the gel from the leaves on the burn and it soothes it quicker than anything I've ever bought, and keeps it from blistering unless it was a really bad burn!

I swear by it! Living alone I usually use my toaster oven for cooking things, and you won't believe how often I reach across the table where it is and accidentally burn my arm...clumsy cow... and grab the aloe! I've given cuttings to a lot of friends. Hope it eases the burn, Moli!

That's why my plant lives in the kitchen window! Only a few steps for relief! And I do the steam-from-the-kettle thing also....

I bet that hurt! The sprays are very good but only for minor burns, if it is anything more serious you realy need to go to A&E. Hope it eases soon for you x
