Poor Robbie has had such a traumatic experience. I do hope you can help his problem. Do let us know how he gets on.

Re: Trying to source Diar-Eze for Robbie

Hello MadCatLady,

Thanks for your suggestions. I have tried Robbie with best chicken, turkey and beef but he sniffs it and walks away. I have had some success getting him to eat fresh cooked haddock if I break it up very small and let him eat it off the floor but have never tried rice so it may be worth a try. I have tried Hills sensitive stomach but that did not help but maybe will try Royal Canin if the diarsynal and rice don't help. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again. Robbiesmum x

Hi Angieh,

Thanks very much for your concern. I'll let you know how Robbie is getting on. He has had a little fish for his tea and I have given him his first Diarsynal so fingers crossed. He is now stretched out in front of the fire and looks quite happy. Robbiesmum x

That's good that he enjoyed a little fish. Fingers crossed the Dyarsynal will help him; give him a chin tickle for me!

Have you thought of also trying slippery elm bark? I swear by it for digestive problems, maybe mix a little with his treat of tuna....

Re: Trying to source Diar-Eze for Robbie

I've just given Robbie and his brother Tom their good night cuddles as it is nearly midnight here and I have work in the morning (they have both had plenty of chin strokes.) Robbie seems a bit more settled tonight, so hopefully he will have improved a bit more by morning. Thanks for your interest. Robbiesmum x

Hello Elaine,

Thanks for your advice. I have not heard of slippery elm as a cure for poorly tummies before. I'll check online to see if I can find some. Robbiesmum x
