Re: Who's cats have been microchipped?

Both of mine are microchipped - they do it as a matter of course when you adopt from the RSPCA.

It didn't in the end help when Des went missing, but at least I felt if someone had found him (dead or alive) I had some chance of getting him back.

Yup, my indoor and outdoor cats are microchipped as are the dogs. The horse is Freezemarked.

My Lily is chipped. Though she never goes outside without a harness and if she did go outside on her own she would be very scared

Re: Who's cats have been microchipped?

All 4 of my babies are microchipped - even though they don't leave the enclosed garden - but the time that Kuta did escape and was missing for 3/4 days I did feel reassured that she was chipped. The people at the Pet Register were really helpful when I called to report her missing too.

Hopefully I'll never have to go through that again though!!!

All my Dogs and my two previous cats were. It didn't help with the latter but there is hope.

I think it's a thing I would do as a matter of course now. What is it? £12. Nothing really.

Cassie was microchipped last year at the age of 9 I have Catsey to thank for getting it done too, as I would probably carried on with just a collar and ID tag...

£10 at out vets when done at a consultation or vaccination. £15 if you just have an appointment for the chipping. Morse will be done in about a month's time when I take him to get his certificate of entirity done so it will only cost me £10
