I find you comb them more during the winter when the coat is much thicker, during the summer Schnapps has much less coat.

Kisses is lovely Kay, have you got pics of your open faced ones? We have an exotic in at work at the moment, I believe thats what you call the short coated Persian? she has dreadful trouble with her eyes, they are awful, and her breathing in the summer can be dodgy, this is one of the reasons I didnt want an ultra type, why is it the Americans have managed to change this lovely breed in this Country?

Meant to add. Your Persians have utra faces but are clean and look like they have no problem at all, its seems (as in dogs) some breeders go to the extreme.
