Thanks, Mrs H, that's the same mourning dove we have here, didn't realize they were in the UK also! I'm forever learning something new here.. But that graceful bird Moli posted the pic of doesn't resemble our pigeons at all...... ours have a shorter tail, reddish eyes, chunkier .....

great pics Moli.Ill have to see if I can get any pics of the wildlife where I work.
We have loads of birds,the green woodpecker is my fave,we have loads of owls on site,ive seen quite a few working nights so im quite lucky we have loads of bunnies which means loads of foxes we also have 2 sets of badgers on site too,they are huge!!!!!! Only seen 1 of the badgers once when he ran out infront of the milk float in the morning,we went out to see what had gone on cause the blokehad slammed his brakes on and there was this massive badger running off into the woods

Whenever I hear about badgers, I think of Mr. Badger in Wind in the Willows! I loved that book as a child!

We have those, they call the wood pigeons here...
