Thanks for the link Smudgley and for the comments everyone. I spoke to the vet and she said that everything sounds normal, the cat is not in any distress and is not straining any more, so probably just having a long labour. I'm keeping an eye on her now and the vet asked me to call back in an hour and let them know how she's doing.
She seems completely laid back - I think I'm more nervous than her!!
Will let you know when the pitter patter of little paws can be heard!!! lol

It is the first litter I've had at home!!!! Her name is Abi. She's really sweet!!
