Re: How would you react to this?

Em should have got the hang of letting you know of changes of plan now.
You're in a heightened emotional state Fran, no wonder you went off on one. Try to have a relaxing evening. Porsha is in the best place for now.

I totally agree with you DM and it was her I had a go at not the mother but I really can't get Em to 'grow up' and as a result of this we have said that she isn't mature enough to be allowed to go places alone and will have to be escorted there in future She goes to High School this year though and will have an hour bus journey to have to negotiate on her own as i am sure Tom will not want his little sister to cramp his style

Re: How would you react to this?

I'm childless, but sure I would have reacted exactly the same way! Why in the world didn't the other girl's mum tell Em to call you? With all the horror stories about children being abducted, etc. it's only natural to panic! And of course you're jittery today anyhow...to repeat, no, you did not overreact IMO. Enjoy the wine...

Re: How would you react to this?

Totally understand your reaction Fran, I would have been the same. Children don't always think to phone you to let you know they are okay, but the girls mum should have made sure she rang you.

Hope you are feeling okay now. At least in the future Em is sure to phone you now!!!
