Re: Daily thread ~ Wednesday

Well I am off work this week (I did have to pop in today for a meeting) so I am at home with the cats, coffee maker on the go and the heating tuned up. I am hoping it will snow tonight as it would be nice to wake up to a good covering of snow.

Off to watch deal or no deal in a min.

I could get use to this no working lark

Re: Daily thread ~ Wednesday

Well, we got snow last night, only 1.5 inches, but enough to make walking nasty and slippery; so forced to stay in again today, which I hate. Knew it was coming so did extra marketing yesterday. An early-rising neighbor had shoveled my walk before I got up (how nice!), so will be able to get out to feed Onyx if the patio isn't too slick...fingers crossed! Hope you lot don't get clobbered with a lot of it!!

Re: Daily thread ~ Wednesday

Evening all,

Had a really cr*p day at work so really glad I am on my notice period, mind you not sure what the next month will hold, my unit manager may turn yuck with me.

Still got ice on my back garden, so must of had no sun today.

Daughter brought home a note regarding the weather due to hit us, if it snows, her school will be closed, as I travel into the countryside along country lanes I wont be in either.

Had the gas engineer out, no heating today, mended now but hes on about air vents etc... seems we need to have a bigger one put in now, something about new Corgi Regs. .

Out for a drink later, only local, cooking roast beef at the mo.

Enjoy your night all x

Night, night everyone. Talk again soon. Should have the internet in the house tomorrow.
Knackered and another hectic day ahead, if the snow lets me
