Re: Daily Thread/Monday

Hi again. The reality is that I shouldnt be here right now but had another car accident today and Nadia has a burst pipe, so we are both busy trying to sort things out. Luckily Nadia doesnt actually leave till tomorrow, so I'll be there as of first thing in the morning now rather than tonight.

Glad you're OK, Elaine, how about the van? Not a nice couple of days for you, parrot bite, car accident...

Still cold here, 7C, wind chill 4. November was 10 degrees colder than normal; didn't need a meterologist to tell me that, just needed to look at my horrendous gas bill, which was what I usually pay in January!! Sun out briefly on the way to the market and has disappeared again,,, must get started on cards; just cannot seem to get motivated! December already, at least we can look forward to the Solstice and a bit more light in the evenings.

Stay warm and dry, people......

Re: Daily Thread/Monday

Been busy with shopping, eating, trying to put our outside christmas lights up but the buggars are not working. Bought some new ones to put up tomorrow. Took some stuff to the tip and got Milo a coat to keep him warm on winter walks.

I'm just about to start on some Banrock Station reserve (3 for a tenner in Asda) so chin chin everyone and keep warm and safe.

Re: Daily Thread/Monday

Been outside today watching the christmas lights being switched on tonight. Dylan's been in and out of his new cat flap like a jack in the box.

Been to Donna Nook in Lincolnshire with college (I think I've managed to spell it right), were late setting off because the drivers were half and hour late, got lost on the way there (took wrong turnings - I wasn't driving by the way, good thing to because I'm hopeless with directions) and FINALLY saw the seals!

I got a few on my phone, wasn't really a lot to take photos of to be honest. The seals were too far away to be able to get any in the shot and I might as well have taken photos of mud, because that and water was all there was there! Free trip though so I shouldn't complain!
