Re: Teddie very bad again

I think she's at least a 12 week case then - lifetime if necessary.
I can imagine her tucking in *warm glow time*
Everything crossed.

Re: Teddie very bad again

You naughty girl Charlie, I told you to keep it for Lily!! But thank you!

Well, so far nothing to report (which is good news), however!!!! About an hour ago, Raechel my eldest, left the kitchen door open by mistake and Teddie managed to sneak a mouthful or two of the boys whiskas meat!! So I'm sure there will be repercussions from that at some point. I'm afraid I shouted at her for it (Raechel, not Teddie) so she isn't in a good mood with me! But it's just so frustrating when I was waiting to see what the results would be of the hills and canikur.

Re: Teddie very bad again

GUESS WHAT I'VE JUST FOUND!!!!!! Now no snide remarks about the state my fridge must be in, but at the bottom of my fridge I have all my jars of pickles and beetroot etc, and I was looking through them to check dates etc, and I found the bottle of metronidazole that I had for the cats before, and there's still a small amount at the bottom of it. Enough I reckon to do Teddie nearly a week. I couldn't see an expiry date on the bottle so I'm going to go ahead and give her it, the same dose as she had before. Hopefully this will help reduce any inflammation in her tummy and give the hills a better chance of working!!

Re: Teddie very bad again

I do hope so Mags, I couldn't believe it when I found it, I was so sure I had thrown the bottle away when they had finished their course as there was so little in it! I also got a recommendation for a vet today from a friend of mine. She has 10 cats and says she swears by this man, so I'm going to pop ove to his practice tomorrow and see if I can have a word with him! Hope he turns out to be good.
