Hope she continues to eat and surely something will be produced out the other end. Hopefully as she becomes more hydrated things will start to move.

Re: Healing Vibes needed for Eva...

I was thinking that she must have been dehydrated before she needed fluids and any poops formed at that time would be dry and hard, so they will take a bit of time to move through her, now she is hydrated that should start to happen.
Jimmy regularly gets constipated and we have to give him a miralax enema, which works very quickly, but we think his problem is caused by damaged gut muscles rather than dehyrdation.
Things are looking good though if she is less yellow, it must be such a worry.

Still no poop, she has urinated a few times. About to give her her tablets. Vet will be calling me when he arrives at the surgery.

Re: Healing Vibes needed for Eva...

Eva has got alot of fight today which I am taking as good sign.
Vet wanted to see her to check her hydration level, however he never got passed massaging her tummy before she went mental and nailed me good time. Bit right into my thumb, so we just let her be for now. Hopefully after her tummy massage, things will begin to move. Vet will call me tomorrow morning and will meet me at the surgery if needed, fingers crossed it wont be as she has had enough poor girl but needs to get better.

Well, it might be good that she's feeling well enough to resist violently; poor girl. Hope the thumb isn't too bad. Am sending "POOP!!" vibes by the truckload.
