Re: Quiz night - 10th December 2008

Yes, I'm OK for next week; however wonder if we can get three players with the holiday season in full swing.

Yes - it was such an interesting quiz CM - thanks so much for taking so much trouble. What beautiful creatures cats are and such variety! Great shame so few of us here - still, creme de la creme!

Well done Eileen - I didn't think I'd done as well as it turned out! Thanks for a great game.

Re: Quiz night - 10th December 2008

Perhaps we should have a break until after Christmas? What do you think?

Re: Quiz night - 10th December 2008

I'm so inclined, Angie. I think possibly postponing next weeks and Christmas Eves would be practical; we could post a notice that the next quiz would be January 1st...or maybe that's a bad day also..hangovers?.. Would welcome your input, and CM's also if she's still here....

Yes, I'm very much afraid that we shall have to have 3 weeks off Eileen - no point on Jan 1st I don't think. It's a shame but maybe if we put our thinking hats on, we could come up with an alternative?

So, seems unanimous. Think I'll put up a post asking for input; or perhaps just an announcement that the quiz will resume in January. We could post a Daily Question, perhaps, to keep our brains lively?

Re: Quiz night - 10th December 2008

Yes, I like that idea too! First one to get the Q correct posts the next day's Q???

It's sad that we have to keep this in this section - only people who visit regularly for the word games will probably remember to look on a regular basis.

I wonder if we can find a good enough argument to post it in the Entertainment section???

Re: Quiz night - 10th December 2008

I rather suspect that Az has made up his mind on that! But don't see why we couldn't post the daily Question in Non Cat Chat. not exactly likely to cause an outpouring of posts which I think is one of the reasons he wants it out of the main section.....

So, do we agree to post a notice next Wednesday that the Quiz will be on holiday till January 8th, but that there will be a Daily Question?
