....had their five month old check up with the vet today.

Claude has a retained testicle  so neutering may be a little more complex for him . I have to leave him another 6-8 weeks before he can be neutered.

Clooney weighs nearly 1kg more than Claude

The vet sems to think Claude will almost certainly be sterile so just Clooney to worry about :?

Have you decided what you are going to do about Maud PK?

no not really Mags, she needs a rest from babies so if she comes in call I may have to seperate her from the boys.

...she deserves a rest PK, she has been an excellent mum hasn't she...

She has been a super super mommy. I am worried she will stress when these babies go especially if I have to seperate her from the boys. I really wanted Claude neutered asap so he could stay with her but the vet says not yet.....

PK dont worry about the testical. We have alot of boxers that come in with the same problem. They have all been fine through the op.I know, you will worry though it's only natural.
Watch for the calling, he could be fertile!

Thanks Whacky, I know there is a chance he could still be fertile so I will have to keep an eye on things

Thank you Smudgley, this sounds exactly like Claude's problem. I think the vet is hoping the testicle is in the groin area rather than in the stomach as it's removal is easier. She thought at one point she may have felt it in the groin and I think this is why she would like to wait a few more weeks to see if it becomes more obvious where it is.....Thank you for the link :-) Hope you and yours are well......Did you convince hubby to my house yet?
