.....my white agapanthus. I bought the tubers in the flower market in Madeira two years ago and the flower heads are on stems 1 metre tall....

Thanks Moli....I did buy some bird of paradise tubers there as well but unfortunately they didn't do anything, maybe our climate wasn't hot enough for them :?

No I haven't Moli but OH is going to get me one of those stand against the wall types with plastic/polythene sides.....my garden isn't big enough for a greenhouse unfortunately...

Yep, Its one thing I always get first when we move, although this year the gales smashed all the glass and twisted the frame, and hubby didn't get it sorted until well into the summer, so didn't grow anything this year.I do overwinter a lot of things in it...

Thanks OM....they are really tall, that is a hanging basket next to them and in the 2nd pic you can see the bird table almost dwarfed by them

Is you garden quite enclosed Mags?
No it's not Moli....it's what I would call a small compact garden
For years I've dreamed of having a big garden but I've given up hope of one now

Wow, that is lovely Mags, you don't half have green fingers!!! Everything I planted is just about dead except the Clematis which is just about holding it's own
