I have been today and bought floating plants for the pond, give you all some cover, also a water lily ..So I am looking after you all...

I have never had a girl cat, always boys, but all my dogs have been girls..
I could always get a girl and call her Maggie....

Never fancied a boy dog, I always am put of by the way they lift their legs against everything!Boy cats I think are more affectionate, But then as I have never had a girl, I could be wrong..
I'll vouch for that...I think boy cats are definately more affectionate..

Would - like Pat - not want a boy dog, even though they constantly tell me (on the lab site) that a neutered boy dog, is much more affectionate than a female dog.

Boy dogs do tend to be more affectionate than girl dogs :wink: If I was starting all over again, I would definitely have boys not girls.....I prefer boy cats too but my girls are equally as affectionate

I know exactly what you mean OM!! It's what kittens do when the are getting the milk from mum. My cats do it too. Some more than others!
Thats what I call plonking OM, my lot all do it...
I call it Paddling OM....Cassie always does it on my lap...
