I have spent the day gardening..with oliver helping me to dig holes, Tara trying to prune all the bushes..mollie just sits where I happen to be.....Now I have a few broken nails..dirt over my trousers, but really enjoyed it... :-D Gypsy pop's in and out of the house all day, just to make sure I haven't sneaked off without her :lol:

I too have spent the day on the garden trying to get everything planted up .......and got broken nails as well.......plus a really aching back :(
Cassie has been out with me just lounging in the sun and doing nothing!
At least it's all finished now and I won't have to worry about it for a bit!!
This time last year my garden was a building site, so I am still trying to fill up little bits here and there, at least the grass has grown..We had to bring in tons of topsoil, and looks as if we will need some more...To think I moved from a house with a beautiful landscaped garden..Must be mad!!!!
I didn't realise you hadn't been in that house very long Moli......where did you live before?
We lived about 15 mins down the road, in a little village, but I was used to living right out in the country and hated village life..There was not the freedom for the dogs there...So we moved end of May up here.
Well you've certainly got the open air and freedom now......just right for the dogs...and the cats.
Is your back well enough to go to training tonight Moli?
Its been a lot better till I did the garden, so I have told them I will not be going tonight...I feels like i have a slipped disc...
That's what you get with all that bending in the garden and you don't realise the harm you're doing til after. You'll have to sit infront of the computer all evening and rest it :-D
My comp is on the breakfast bar, and I am sure these bar stools are making it worse..(they have backs but are bloomin uncomfortable)Hubby went yesterday to see if he could find me a comfy one.but they don't seem to make any other styles...Are you going to watch the soap awards tonight Mags..I will be Alfie moon gets one :D
Is it possible to put a cushion in your back Moli? I find that helps alot and it keeps your back straight.
I find the awards quite boring actually....if the person you wanted to see came on straight away it would be ok.....I find it a bit 'sugary'! :lol:

What time does it get light in the mornings your way?
This time of year about 4am..in midsummer its still light most nights at 10pm and gets light 3.30-4am....
It gets light here in the mornings about 5.30am and gets dark at night by 9.00pm!
You get quite a bit more daylight than us then :( I'll have to think about moving to Scotland! :-D
Years ago, we lived in shetland for a while, up there some nights it didn't get really dark at all in summer....
I always thought it was darker in Scotland.....wasn't there some talk a while ago about stopping the 'putting the clocks back' but they wouldn't do it because it would be so dark in Scotland in the mornings that it would be dangerous for the children going to school.....
Thats just in the winter..I does stay dark longer in the mornings then, and get dark about 4pm.
Alfie has got best actor, you were right Mags he is leaving :cry: :cry: :cry: I will never watch eastenders again :(
I missed it! Did he say why he was leaving? I think when he left the Queen Vic something was in the air then :?
He said it was his last soap awards.....
I think he was one of their best stars....
