They are 10 months old. One is a black spotted, the other a brown spotted and they are Bengal Cats.
Awwww they are beautiful Bengals Jane!
Azz (admin) also has a Bengal and Presa so I'm sure hell be very impressed with your pics.
OMG You have got me all giddy now, they are gorgeous :smt007
I cant believe you let them outside!!!!
I would be outside looking for them every 5 minutes
They are really gorgeous...

hi jap and welcome to CP
I do spend most of the time looking for them.
They have not been out before last week. When we got them they had cat flu, it was touch and go if they would survive.
They are much stronger now but they have both been left with damage in eyes, nose and lungs, the black one is worse off, he has all three things wrong with him.
All I can say is........innoculate, innoculate, innoculate. This is such a horrible disease, and it is so bad to have to watch such tiny little animals suffer so much.
Looking at the pics of them they appear really healthy so it's quite a surprise to hear they've been damaged by the dreaded cat flu.
I always have my Cassie innoculated.....it's the least you can do to protect your cat.
Mine get done every year without fail - the only way I think!!
I know what you mean, they do not look as if they have anything worng.
My vets says that because they were so very young when they caught it, that they are used to their problems.
The black spotted (Ninja) has a damaged eye, it is smaller and sometimes when he looks straight on at you it looks crossed and his eye sight is limited. He has nasal damage, sounds like he is snoring most of the time, he also weezes alot. Ninja has always been the strongest, yet he suffers the most....Although as you can see he is the boldest.
The brown spotted (Oozie) got off lightly, his only real problems are a runny eye and dirty nose, every now and then, although it does bother him.
As they were so very ill, they lost over half of their body weight and had to stay in intensive care at the vets to be looked after and fed. They will probably never grow to their full size.
I agree get them done every year, without fail.
IF you buy a kitten from a breeder make sure that they have had this done before you get them. My boys were already sneezing occasionally when I got them, although they looked very healthy but they went down hill very very quickly - They were only 10 weeks old.
Thats really sad - but I am sure they will be very well looked after now Jane !
Well...although they had a problem start to life, they look happy Larry's now Jane!!
Oh...and I love their names  Oozie sounds a nice cuddly name
Thanks Guys.
Oozie is named after a machine gun, this is because of the sound he makes when he runs.
Ninja is because he is very patient, quiet, and brave after the Ninja Warriors.
I know they will have a better life here with our very large family lol.
Thanks Guys.

Cat flu is such a worry, I can't wait for Claude and Clooney to be old enough to be vaccinated....

well i cant see pictures so just read this forum.I am interested to know if they came from a registered breeder seeing that they are Bengals. One of the things the GCCf recommends is that all kittens should be fully vaccinated, first being at 8 weeks and that they should not leave till atleast 13/14 weeks. This is told to us each time we register or have any correspondence with the GCCF.My Persian babies never go any earlier and are fully vaccinated when they leave for their new home
