I phoned the lady to offer to put the kittens with Maud since she only has Claude. She was literally just on her way to a potential foster mother when I phoned her. If it doesn't work out with this foster mum she says she will get back in touch with me.

I just thought about how I would have felt if anything had happened to Maud. To be left with orphan kittens that you may loose as well, just didn't bear thinking about. Maud only has Claude, she has plenty of milk and is such a good mum. I would have been very happy to helped out.
