Haven't heard any this year. Aren't we lucky?
Mine don't go out in the dark so don't think they even know there are any around. I;ll put the TV on loud next weekend and there should be no probs.
We have had fireworks going off every night for about two weeks now....and I don't mean just the odd one or two. It's been like bonfire every night
Cassie gets very frightened so I make sure she is indoors safe from 4.00pm. Even then when the fireworks are going off she tries to hide away, her ears go flat to her head and her poor eyes look terrified.
I vote for 'bang-less' fireworks!! :smt077 ........or animal friendly ones

Poor Cassie.
Still no fireworks here - emigrate to Dorset!

Back in your box Nae - esp if you are getting a puppy next year :D
Aww poor cassie :-(
Cheetah is an indoor cat but shes rock solid and prob wouldn't be phased by em!
Let's hope Rocky will cope with his first firework year ok
Just got a text messsage from his friends owner! So hes dying to go out (but she said to meet at 7pm so hes gotta wait! lol).
There were a few going off earlier so hopefully none later! Hes bound to be scared cos its all new bless him :-0
Awww I hope he's ok.....big hugs for Rocky :smt007
He knocked Jo down yesterday! bless her! (he knocked me down a few weeks ago lol). he doesnt realise how big and heavy he is!!
Luckily no firworks today but someone lit a bit bonfire!!
Wow, he must be strong now......and he's still a youngster!
Was Jo ok?
yeah she was fine, we couldnt stop laughing! She was lucky no-one else was about when she fel, but when I fell there were loadsa teenagers hanging round the park! (not sure if they saw tho!)
Bet he wouldn't knock me down!
He wouldn't intend to, just when he runs around with Henry they dont look where they are running!! Surprised they havent ran into the metal fencing yet!
Poor Cheetah would have no chance against him!
I kno, he put his paw on her to make her 'stay' bless him and her :-)
Hes just a big baby tho awwwwwwwwwwwww :-)

Jas aims for my knee caps so I gotta jump outta the way before he sends me flying. I have taught him now, that when I raise my hand he's to stop. It works 99% of the time :D
Thing is half the problem is.... its' night time when we take them out! so I think we should get some refector stripes lol
I put my hand out to him too and he does stop..soemtimes!!

Is that when you've got treats in your hand Azz?

He just likes to tease his dad Azz :(
Better see if you can still handle Cheetah Azz
Yes Rocky likes to tease!
Cheetah is as mad as ever, cant wait to get this house done then we can have some more kittens!
We had a plasterer come round today and he sounded like he was very good - he even brought a portfolio (pictures) of past work and offered refrences, none of the others have!! But I think he will come at a price... my guess is about a thousand pounds more than our cheapest quote! sods law eh!!

We've already suggested you go on a course Azz, but as per usual you men have got to think it was your idea

Azz that's awful :(
Hey Mags maybe you should send that 5 grand cheque to Azz after all
The average quote is around 2grand however the one that was meant to start quoted us 1100 and once you sort of have it in your head that it can be done for that much, you begrudge paying almost a thousand more!
Naomi
07-11-2004, 02:36 PM
Yeah too right.
The guy who quoted you £1100 probably thought he couldn't really do it for that much so he's giving you the run around.
Don't you just hate it when they do that
yeah :-(
tbh think we're realistically looking around £1600 ish
