I'm just curious on how your cats cope with fireworks

Haven't heard any this year. Aren't we lucky?
Mine don't go out in the dark so don't think they even know there are any around. I;ll put the TV on loud next weekend and there should be no probs.

We have had fireworks going off every night for about two weeks now....and I don't mean just the odd one or two. It's been like bonfire every night

Cassie gets very frightened so I make sure she is indoors safe from 4.00pm. Even then when the fireworks are going off she tries to hide away, her ears go flat to her head and her poor eyes look terrified.

I vote for 'bang-less' fireworks!! :smt077 ........or animal friendly ones

Poor Cassie.

Still no fireworks here - emigrate to Dorset!

Jas aims for my knee caps so I gotta jump outta the way before he sends me flying. I have taught him now, that when I raise my hand he's to stop. It works 99% of the time :D

Azz
02-11-2004, 11:10 PM
Thing is half the problem is.... its' night time when we take them out! so I think we should get some refector stripes lol

I put my hand out to him too and he does stop..soemtimes!!

Mags
03-11-2004, 09:40 PM
Better see if you can still handle Cheetah Azz

Azz
04-11-2004, 02:48 AM
Yes Rocky likes to tease!
Cheetah is as mad as ever, cant wait to get this house done then we can have some more kittens!

We had a plasterer come round today and he sounded like he was very good - he even brought a portfolio (pictures) of past work and offered refrences, none of the others have!! But I think he will come at a price... my guess is about a thousand pounds more than our cheapest quote! sods law eh!!

Naomi
04-11-2004, 03:22 PM
Hey Azz he may well surprise you and not be that more expensive

Mags
04-11-2004, 07:28 PM
Fiirst thing to do is take a look at what car he is driving!

Won't do any harm to get his quote tho Azz. Fingers crossed :)

Azz
04-11-2004, 11:11 PM

Azz
05-11-2004, 10:11 PM

Mags
05-11-2004, 10:49 PM
Hmm, interesting.....wonder how good he is :?

Azz
05-11-2004, 11:39 PM
lol Mags... I meant for me! I could go on a course too!

Naomi
06-11-2004, 12:12 PM
We've already suggested you go on a course Azz, but as per usual you men have got to think it was your idea

Azz
06-11-2004, 03:17 PM
lol yeah i kno, but i thought they were long ones like a year or so, these ones are intensive ones that last a week

oh btw we got that quote 2day... almost 3grand!!!!! :-(

Mags
06-11-2004, 04:38 PM
oh btw we got that quote 2day... almost 3grand!!!!!

What!! Was he mixing the plaster with gold dust?

I thought you meant Jo's friend could do a bit of practising on your house  :?

Naomi
06-11-2004, 07:47 PM
Azz that's awful :(

Hey Mags maybe you should send that 5 grand cheque to Azz after all

Azz
06-11-2004, 09:59 PM
The average quote is around 2grand however the one that was meant to start quoted us 1100 and once you sort of have it in your head that it can be done for that much, you begrudge paying almost a thousand more!

Naomi
07-11-2004, 02:36 PM
Yeah too right.

The guy who quoted you £1100 probably thought he couldn't really do it for that much so he's giving you the run around.

Don't you just hate it when they do that

Azz
07-11-2004, 03:51 PM
yeah :-(

tbh think we're realistically looking around £1600 ish

Naomi
07-11-2004, 07:22 PM
I hope you can get it sorted soon Azz :(

Mags
07-11-2004, 07:24 PM

07-11-2004, 09:33 PM
