Did anyone read the article in the paper this morning about the 7 year old cat that weighs an astonishing 36lbs? The poor animal looked almost grotesque. Its elderly owner fed him on crisps, cakes and sweets!! Can you believe it !!! He never got any exercise either. It seems he was so large that he couldn't even get his head through the cat flap.

Poor thing! Some owners think they are spoiling their pets by giving them 'human' treats when, in fact, they are actually putting their pets' life in danger.

Maybe a bit of mince from time to time, cooked chicken, the odd fish. :D Not cake!! And Geri and Kylie have a HUGE barn to roam around in so thy always get lots of exercise. Geri can jump about 2 meters from a stand!!

Cassie certainly doesn't get sweet things or crisps either! She also occassionally has cooked chicken or fish, especially if she is 'off colour' as it is easier for her to digest.

I bet Geri and Kylie have great fun in that huge barn Bastet! Any mice to be caught in there? :)

Oh yes Mags!! Loads, Geri is always bringing them in.   Kylie though prefers lying on the heater rather than running round in the barn. :?
