It's a few years ago now, but we still wonder what happened to her ...

WHY DID SHE?

Why did she stray so far from home
Why did she go away and roam
Why did she leave the warm fireside
Why did she not stay home and hide

Why did she go out into the night
Why did she give her owners a fright
Why did she not look where she's going
Why did she run, there's no knowing

She disappeared without a trace
Perhaps she's found another place
A place where they will treat her kind
If that's the case I do not mind

Maybe she had lost her way
Became confused, who can say
Hopefully our little stray
will find her way back home some day
