did anyone see this last night, a programme all about Cloneing dogs in Korea.The firm who clone lots of dogs ran a competition to clone the dog of the most deserving case in britain.
Personaly i find the idea of cloning wrong and nearly turned the programme off, however i did watch it and my feelings remain the same.
It described the cloned dogs that the Koreans brought to Britain as product samples !
I wonder how many times the surragate dogs are used and whether when they performed a caesarian as they said it was the safest way, did they mean for the expensive pup or the mother.
The lady who won said " my dogs DNA is now banked so when i need to i can ring up and order another one !"
IMO the competition raised the owners hopes and of course they were dashed when they didn't win.
Apparently the cloned animal will look exactly the same
but the exact personality will not be transferred.
There was a scientist speaking who was part of some sort of cult who said that they had cloned several children ?
