Play safe and make sure your cat is safely indoors during the ferocious storms we've been experiencing lately, don't allow your cat out at night.... for his/her safety and your peace of mind. Every cat owner should have a litter tray already so Puss will be warm, dry, safe and comfortable throughout the night and stormy daytime too.

Sensible advice Mags. Mine are always in at night and they haven't been out in the worst of the weather at all. There are a couple of outdoor cats around here and I've made sure they have shelter and food as they don't seem to anyone caring for them much.

Cassie is the same PP, always locked in at night and doesn't go out when it's raining heavily.

It's kind of you to look out for those 'outdoor cats', probably the best attention they've had in their whole life too ... :)

Pip and Kizzy still go out at night, but can always come home again and sometimes jump up on the bed, soaking wet!!! I always have kitchen towel handy!

I feel sure that some poor cats have not made it through these awful nights.

Timmy can go in and out as he pleases .but not out for long this weather and usually end up on my bed . sometimes soaking wet, not nice when I'm asleep and he rubs himself against my face ..

Broxi is driving me crazy with his yowling to get out, but not a chance! It's just too nasty out there.
