Just a heads-up. :cat27

Cat cams record the night life of domestic cats in a village in Surrey.

I agree Elaine it was a bit lacking in knowledge despite all the technology. I loved the puddy tats tho, that was one huge Maine Coon!

I think scientists of all sorts just love PROOF which has not been easy to come by before. The glaring gap I wanted filled was whether the cats were neutered or not as surely that would affect their behaviour.

I have just watched it and found it very interesting but nothing more than I would have expected - I too would like to know who is neutered and not and also it was a bit hit and miss and got a bit confused whose cat was whose?

I think most if not all were neutered where they not? They were all mature cats, a mix of ages might have produced more varied results?

I watched a similar programme on Animal Planet last year but without the technology

Lovely cats and nice to see a programme devoted to cats

I thought it was a bit odd how they dismissed the amount of wildlife killed by the cats :/

Hope they repeat the study elsewhere and share the papers that come out of it!
