Romeo went in for his snip and chip yesterday (finally!)

This is a before shot with the fluffy bad boys on full display.

He must be sneaking on catsey and getting tips from Toffee!

He was a little more protective of them today though.

Knowing that I would be instructed to feed little and often with a bland diet for a couple of days, I stocked up on chicken and fish. Romeo, however, had other ideas. He loved the fish and scoffed down some chicken, then promptly finished off Smudge's dinner as well. He was still hungry this morning and practically chewed my arm off before breakfast. No sign of an upset tummy, at either end, so all is well.

And as for being quiet and sleeping all night, as the vet assured me he would, he's spent the last 24 hours terrorizing the girls and generally making a nusance of himself, as per usual.

He's not very impressed with all the bald spots though!

It's amazing how quickly they get over things when they are young, it's almost like he's forgotten about it already!

I'm sure he's no idea what's happened - they do readjust so very easily. Pip sends brotherly licks and purrrrs (very quiet ones so as not to spoil the image!)

He's one little cutie, your Romeo - but of course I am biased!

He's a cutie isn't he and totally unbothered by the 'snip'. He could be a poster boy to reassure those who worry!

He's very glad that the fur is starting to grow back, they look tiny at the moment!

He went out without his lead for the first time this weekend and he loved it! He was straight out without any hesitation. He has stayed in the back garden so far

"Romeo, Romeo wherefore art thou Romeo?"

(Sorry, had to be done!)

He's so lovely - hope he has loads of fun and adventures and comes home every now and again and comes running to see his mum just like my Pip!

He is certainly a mummys boy (for now!) 'Daddy' is not very pleased about that, but then he is at work all day while I'm at home unemployed, so it's hardly surprising.

Toffee (and Rover before him) disagrees with the vet as well. Never sleepy after an operation and just as hungry.
