Thanks, she is lovely, Martin decided to introduce Arthur and her to one another (although I said it was too soon) a lot of hissing from Sophie but Arthur was very good, they are both asleep now with me in the lounge ... Lol

She is a total doll. Beautiful cat bet she thinks YOU have landed on your feet getting her. Thats cats for you, I am with Martin on the early introductions I think it stresses cats out being able to smell each other but not meet.
Arthur is of course a happy go lucky chap with a chilled personality, what did the rescue say about Sophie, lovely name by the way did you choose it yourself - did it just come to you or did you always love it.

Hi Kazz,

She was found by the RSPCA as a stay with a collar wound, which has now healed. They reckon she is 2 years old and they have spayed her.

They named her Hope and with everything going on at home it really attracted me to her, especially after losing Bronwyn and it had to be another tabby. We decided to change her name and thought of a load of names but decided on Sophie.....she is ignoring us at the moment but will soon get used to it ;-)

Even when she is used to it I imagine she will ignore you :-D she is a cat after all.

Kizzy would like to know if Sophie would like to have her as an adopted sister - they look so alike - two little rescued girlies.

She's lovely Emma, boy cats always seem much more accepting than females imo.
