There was a lovely bumblebee in amongst the snowdrops this morning, she was quite acrobatic trying to drink nectar from the flowers.

I'm a sworn friend of the bumblebee Lynz - now I'd never get that close to a wasp!

I adore Bumblebees, they are such placid creatures!
Beautiful photos angie.

I've held them in my hands before when the need has arisen if they're in need of a little help in the form of sugar syrup or to direct them somewhere safe and warm for the night when it's too cold for them to fly home. Not once have they stung me

Looks like you have the same paving slabs as I have at my little bungalow! I had some building work done last year and have spare, if you want any just shout.

We seem to have quite a bit in common, truth! Thanks for the offer - it's a pavior left over from the patio.

I too like bumble bees but never held one. I just leave them alone, lovely picture I have the odd snowdrop popping up here too.

Just showing the differences between here on the south coast and you up there in B'ham, Kazz - our snowdrops are now nearly over and our daffodils are out!
