Does your cat entice your dog to play?

I've just been watching Wheatley and Louie for the past half an hour.

And to me it seems that Wheats is enticing Louie to play chase with him.. it's not the first occasion either. Wheats will walk up to Louie and then run right past him, when Louie takes the bait, Wheatley will roll over, grab hold of Louie's muzzle and lick his nose - meanwhile Louie is licking his belly. And if Louie walks away, Wheatley will start play attacking his tail until Louie turns around and then the whole thing starts again...

It's hilarious to watch and it's definately play as I have seen a cat that wasn't displaying play behaviours before..

Yep and when the dogs walk past the cats all hit them with their paws. I have a video somewhere of Tim playing with Harvey as a very young kitten. They all love Harvey, big placid boy that he is xx

oh yes :-D asbo and ezzy always play together.. she winds him up, and they start chasing each other round the house :lol:
