For those interested in having a new bookclub, please indicate your preference/s in the poll - you can vote for more than one option.

If you are ticking "Anything else" perhaps you could post your suggestion too?

This poll will be open for 10 days. Thanks for your interest!!!

How about a mixture of the two - have a suggestions thread then have people voting for which book out of that thread should be the one to be read?

I have voted too! I like RCR's suggestion. :-)

It's the sort of thing I'd probably nip in and out of... Not sure I'd use it enough to decide exactly how it should run, though I guess what it ends up being would dictate how much I use it!!! I guess it's also the sort of thing which could mutate as it is used...

Yes, the trouble with that Squirrel is that the whole thing peters out without at least a few committed supporters. That's really what happened last time. Book recommendations are fine, and people can dip in and out of that - so long as they remember to post their recommendations :D but with a book to read and comments or discussion at the end there really does have to be a few committed readers ;)

RCR - I think if we managed to get a good number of folk interested that would be an ideal and something to aim for, but as I've said to Squirrel that's what we had last time and it ran out of steam after a bit.
