Looks as if Leia has made herself very much at home and has a great view from the windows, but those birds must be really pesky as she's turned her attention indoors - which is a good sign that she feels secure where she is already.

She loves having a tummy tickle! I think I've settled in OK myself, have gotten pretty adjusted to the much smaller space;now all I need is my house plants. We do have a great view from the 5th floor.

Wow Eileen that really is a full length window isn't it. Lovely pictures of Leia, she looks contented, and I am glad you have settled in.

Did you take houseplants with you or will you be getting new ones?

Houseplants are sitting in the yard of my former house, Kazz; Chris will be bringing them up when he has time. We didn't trust the movers to do them. Some of them are very old, one Christmas cactus predates my moving into that house 46 years ago, also an asparagus fern. A lot of them are 20+ years old.....

I do like that little tile top table. Amazing the things you find that people are throwing out: I have another brass table, and also my rowing machine and exercise bike came from there. I didn't bring the latter two; hadn't used them in ages except as clothes racks :oops: We're near several universities, Georgetown and American, and a lot of students who don't live on campus rent in the neighborhood; when they leave they throw stuff out instead of moving it home or selling it ....
