I thought we could make a list of all the animal charities in the UK so people who are looking for a new pet have a good list of charities to contact about adpoting pets. We will split them down into areas after we have posted them all.

Good idea RCR

This is an independent charity that rehomes cats and rabbits, but only from the local area.

[QUOTE=rescuecatsrule;650785]I thought we could make a list of all the animal charities in the UK so people who are looking for a new pet have a good list of charities to contact about adpoting pets. We will split them down into areas after we have posted them all.

I've spent the last 18 months doing this!!! Please find the most comprehensive list of rescue and rehoming organisations (over 2000) on RescueReview.co.uk. It's free to use and list and there to help anyone considering animal adoption!!!:D

Good idea, RCR. The links are useful too.

Will check out your website Miranda, as you have put the work in already - maybe the mods can make it a permanent link ?

Please do! It really has been a labour of love! Delighted to say it proving useful in vet practices (to send people in the right direction to find a rescue centre) and I've had some lovely feedback from adopters who have used it to find wonderful new rescue pets. :D Hoorah!:D
