Was just in the mood to talk about cats :smt049

Cats just make me so happy, I love them so much. Not only ours but all cats. They are the greatest creatures to share life with. Cats make a house a home :cat27

I look forward to seeing our cats when I get home. Their eyes light up when they see me too. They all have the cutest little faces. So bright & curious. Then they wrap their tails around my legs, I can't help but to love them even more. I love to kiss their beautiful faces & give them more love then they know what to do with. I love when they snuggle close to me & start to purr. Cats sure know how to fill a humans heart with love too.

There will never be enough stuff we can build for them or toys we can buy for them. Even though they have so much, it is still not enough for how wonderful they are.

I couldn't imagine our life without cats in the house. They are not only my friends, but my children as well. Their place in my heart & their place in our house will forever be permanent. They deserve everything we can give them :-D

:cat21 :cat27 Cats are wonderful! :cat27 :cat21

I love my cats they really are very funny with the silly little things they do. One opens a door the other closes them. One goes on top on the door  Complete nutcases

I cannot imagine a house .... or a life ... that wouldn't be more complete with a cat. I can't express how much I missed Leia while she was away during my two hospitalizations and recovery time.

Being brought up with dogs, I cant imagine being without my 2 cats now and wouldnt go back to having dogs. As much as Harris can be challenging at times with his inappropriate places to pee!!! They have their own wee characters that are totally unique from the other. Skye is more affectionate during teh day and a complete mums girl whereas Harris is more sooky in the morning when you get up and gives you kisses and lays under the quilt with you.

They are both soo different but it wouldnt be the same if tehy behaved the same

I love my cats too. The best thing is having a cat curled upo on your lap, purring, Very therapeutic! My daughter has just got a job working with 300 cats! She has been assigned 11 to look after personally. She has to play, socialise, feed them etc. What a dream job!! :)

What does she do, Kim?

She works for Waltham Pet Nutrition, part of the Mars group. They make whiskas, Sheba, Royal Canin, etc. She has only worked there for a couple of weeks, but loves it so much!! The cats are all so well looked after and all are re-homed when they retire. She will learn to vaccinate and microchip and has to health check and weigh the cats weekly. She has just finished her degree in Animal Management and Welfare, so is very lucky to land her dream job so quickly!! :)

I love both my cats to bits, but George and I have a really strong bond. He is a mummy's cat and will let me do anything with him. He follows me around and will settle down wherever I am. He purrs so loudly and rolls over for a belly tickle when I so much as look at him. He's playful and funny and winds me round his little paw. Milly wants her mum when she feels like it. She has a very soft purr and you actually have to have your hand on her to feel it rather than hear it. I'm sure its true what they say about it being good for you to pet animals, it certainly works for me.

It's a generalization, I suppose, but I do believe boy cats are more loving mum's boys and girls affectionate on their own terms and own times .... my experiebce anyway.

Cats certainly are wonderful! I love Kizzy because she is so very gentle and I trust her not to bite nor scratch. She has such a wonderful deep purr and having her on my lap (a recent honour) is just about the best thing. She is so relaxing and comforting.

I love Pip because he is just the most tolerant cat I've ever met - he's a big softie and used to follow me around all day (before Monty arrived!). He is playful and funny and makes me smile. He has a habit of coming and wafting his tail around my nose if I am reading something when he thinks I should be feeding him Dreamies or playing with him.

I loved my Merlin and lovely Smudge for totally different reasons. Merlin was my first cat and was a grumpy sort especially as he got older (was over 23 when he passed). But we did have a strong bond and I still miss him. Smudge was a very independent girl but was loving and gentle and a sweetie on her own terms.

LONG LIVE CATS - couldn't be without 'em :D :D :D

I will always be a Cat Lady :D
I don't quite feel complete unless there is a cat nearby or within sight. Something very comforting knowing they are never too far away. There is a presence about cats that you never have to feel you are completely alone if you have one around.
I love the purrs and soft fur and warm bodies. The eyes that speak volumes and a gentle paw here and there to get their point across. A headbump and kissing them on the forehead makes me feel all is right with the world. I never want to imagine a day without cats!

One of mine soon found a way to get me out of bed in a morning. He used to find his way under the bottom of the duvet and go for my feet. He figured out that I would move my feet out of the way and they would end up out of bed... only a short step from actually getting me to put them on the floor and get up. You just got to love him lol x

Cute story, MP! They are so clever and so devious, and usually get their own way, bless 'em!
