Eileen, post op news.

I've just received news from Christopher to say that Eileen's operation went well - he had a short visit with her last night around 8.30 (01.30UK) - she was still groggy from the surgery but looking well all things considered - she was still in ICU.

Christopher called the hospital this morning and Eileen was still asleep, he will call in to see her today.

What a relief that her op is over and appears to have gone well, I like to think our Catsey vibes are working for her!;)

I can't thank Christopher enough for keeping us updated on Eileen's condition, he is a great guy!

I will update again as soon as there is news....

Update 5.5.11

Christopher visited Eileen today and said she looked well but still has pain in her stomach. She is having trouble sleeping as she can't get comfortable.

He spoke with the doctors yesterday evening and all reports are good so far. Sunday is the earliest that she will be released.

Once again Christopher has kindly offered to print off any messages we would like to send Eileen ......... they will need to be posted in the next day or two so that I can get them to him.

I'll start a separate thread for your messages.

So sorry to hear that tummy is sore. Understandable, but Not Good. Hopefully that will be resolved soon, and she'll come on by leaps and bounds.

There has been no further news on Eileen's condition since last Thursday but I'm sure Christopher will update me shortly when he has the time. I don't know how often he's able to visit the hospital, it depends how busy he is I suppose.
