I'll post a few pictures of my baby girl Pookie

I really think she has some Abyssinian in her because she does have tri-colored hairs and her face reminds me of this cat sooo much

Which is an Abyssinian cat. What do you think? She has some tortie/calico/tabby patterns but everyone keeps telling me she is much too big to have any Abyssinian in her as she is 11 pounds. Thanks for any input!

Pookie's a beautiful girl! Hard to tell from the pics, but I suspect she's a ticked tabby. At first, especially the last pic, I thought she might be a brown torbie (TORtiseshell taBBY), but the ticking makes that unlikely.

Ticking can occur in randomly bred cats, not just in breeds like the Aby and Singapura. Here's a link to an interesting article; scroll way down till you get to Ticked Tabbys - pics too! It's a bit technical but infornative.

As to the weight, not all Abys are lightweights ... my boy was a 12 pounder!

Your cream girl is lovely too, , what's her name?

She's lovely. :) And I see that you also have a way of naming cats. ^^
