Elizabeth Sladen died yesterday

I am sad to hear of the death at 63 of Elizabeth Sladen. She died from cancer. Elizabeth played Sarah Jane Smith in Dr. Who opposite Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker, and returned to Dr Who to act with David Tennant and Matt Smith. She had her own spin-off series too, the Sarah Jane Adventures.

As the new Dr. Who series starts this Saturday coming, I see that the BBC is going to pay a tribute to her.

I was very saddened to hear about this yesterday too. Being a big Dr Who fan and my youngest daughter a fanatic, we've watched her many times in both Dr Who and the Sarah Jane adventures. Apparently a wonderful lady in real life too.

Great lady and a good actress, taken far too young. Very sad indeed. Good tribute on CBBC, hard to believe she was 63, she looked so much younger.

What a shock, I loves Sarah Jane, and her return was as you would expect.
